Anastasiya: from Quality Assurance Engineer to Junior Software Developer (Frontend)

My background?

I used to work as a Quality Assurance Engineer (manual and automation testing).

What prompted my professional transition was...

To be a software developer is much more interesting than to be a software tester. You learn something new almost every day, you meet a different kind of problems. You have to be very inventive and I like that you can solve an issue with a lot of different ways.

Why did I choose to reorient myself in the digital field?

My previous job was also in the digital field. To be a good specialist you have to study constantly and it keeps your mind sharp. And with coding you can create everything, there is nothing unsolvable. And this is the whole charm of programming.

I joined Wild Code School Berlin from 25.04 to 31.07, in the Web Development (React, Node.js) training.

React is very popular technology, I like React :)

What about after the Wild Code School?

I work for Takeaway as Junior Software Developer (Frontend)

My dream job?

I want to improve my skills and knowledge and become a good specialist.

If I could talk to my pre-training "me", I would tell her:

May the force be with you :)
